I have been going to George for several years. Since my first visit over twenty years ago, George has been welcoming and professional. He listens to my concerns and provides insightful suggestions to ensure my hair is perfect. His skill is evident in every snip and style. He works meticulously to ensure every detail is perfect, and the results are amazing. Moreover, George uses high-quality products that make my hair healthy and shiny. I always leave the salon feeling confident and refreshed. I highly recommend George to anyone looking for a top-notch hair experience.
My hair's best friend, Monsieur George Buckner
I have been going to Hair Fashions East for over 30 years. George has given my hair tender loving care. When I was introduced to George by a close friend, I was over the moon because I was a new immigrant to America and couldn’t find a hair care stylist whom I was happy with. George is attentive, skilled, always keeping abreast of new styles in both hair and skin care. When I had breast cancer some years ago, George worked closely with my doctor and me to ensure that my hair would receive even greater care during my cancer treatment. It is said that for women, their hair stylist becomes a great friend. I definitely put George in this category.
George Buckner, Ph.D in Hair Care & Styling
Mr. Buckner has been my hair care specialist for the past 7 years. I credit him for making my hair healthier, shinier and softer. I look forward to my weekly salon appointments at George’s Hair Fashions East because of the excellent client-care service and welcoming atmosphere. Mr. Buckner is a true hair care professional and a bonafide ‘professor of hair care’.

In 1983 I went to your salon with my aunt – Fannie Spencer. I had no money and was not there for a service. I was newly divorced, sad, depressed and really just wanted to stay home at wallow in pity. Mr. B. came and sat beside me and asked if he could do my hair. I told him I had no money, that I was only there with my aunt. But, he took me back, talked to me and encouraged me the whole time he worked on my hair. He cut most of it off! LOL I can’t remember the name of the young lady, but she did my makeup. Mr. B. hugged me when I left telling me how beautiful I looked. You could not tell me nothing! I smiled all the way home! I became a hairstylist in 2011!
